Tuluy-Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Pasko!

How will Christmas be like this year? Looking around, everyone seems to have the so-called "christmas spirit". With the sudden changes and steps that I have made the past 6 months, I wonder how I'd spend this year's Christmas. I guess, it's gonna be the same minus the tons of gifts that I get from my old job, minus the free days I have before the big day, minus the times that I could attend several christmas parties, and minus the times that I could really spend time with my friends.

Yup, my life had just been very different from what I had the last 5 years. Huh, as they say change is good but I am still adjusting to the life that I have chosen. I've made huge sacrifices but I do get by each day. I'm proud to say that I have made several friends the last 6 months and they give me comfort at times of stress.

Well, the child in me still looks forward to Christmas ~ the food, the gifts, my friends and my family. I have already started my count down. From today, it's exactly 28 days before Christmas. Woohoo! I have already listed the names of the people that I'd be buying gifts for (though for this year there will just be a few due to tight budget. Hello bago lang ako sa work noh?!). I have also fixed my free days since my aunt is coming home for Christmas. And how can I forget, my own Christmas Wishlist. Comparing it from last year's, they're pretty much the same. Meaning, some of which I still wish for or wish for more. Mwahahaha!

My 2006 Christmas Wishlist:
  1. lower gasoline price
  2. no to Christmas rush traffic
  3. more shopping money
  4. more time with my family
  5. a week of complete rest and relaxation
  6. a new watch
  7. a Gary V concert/show to watch
  8. Sitti cd
  9. FRIENDS vcds (seasons 8-10, last 3 seasons na lang)
  10. i-pod
  11. another The Spa treat
  12. car headrest
  13. Red Ribbon blueberry cheesecake (April pa ko huling kumain nito)
  14. Issey Miyake or Burberry perfume
  15. lots of chocolates and sweets (I've been depriving myself for these the past several months and the results were good. I've lost weight. Can I excuse myself this Christmas?)
  16. a fun-filled day with my girl friends ~ Lei, Jen, Bliss, Jan, G, Sal
  17. lots of BLUE stuff
  18. a day to play badminton
  19. a better Teepee
  20. good grades for Cholo and Luisa
  21. good health for my family
  22. political and economic stability pa ren sa Pilipinas
  23. world peace
  24. make peace with people that I had a rift with back in September (miss ko na sila at love na love ko sila. You know who you are)
  25. finally, be with RED (wish lang naman e!)

As I've said, it's just a wishlist. Be granted or not, I hope nothing and no one spoils my Christmas.

Caught in PINK

Oh yes that's me! And I'm in pink. It's really not a big issue. It's just that I don't like that color. You know what my favorite color is? Guess!

It's very rare that you find me wearing anything pink except for a few years of wearing some of the St. Paul uniforms, my best friend Lei's wedding, my boss's birthday and my love for the 2-4 bayow non-DD (mga lokaret regaluhan ba daw ako ng pink blouse! Take note they really planned it).

I just feel that the color does not suit my personality. It's too girly for me and it's like the color that you have to live up to which of course I can't!

But it's my partner Teresa's birthday. I thought so hard if I'm gonna attend her Pink Only party. Kamusta naman yun di ba?! She really wanted me to be in pink by putting the word "only". No "sow-ry" can make up for that. Joke! Hey I love the girl and she's my friend. You have to know that it took some time for me to decide if I'm gonna buy the blue or the pink shirt. The blue shirt seemed to have been calling my name. I wanted to be the rebel in the party. A rebel without a cause. The standout! But I know that it would really make her happy if she sees me in pink.

So there I was, after a few wrong turns, an hour of looking for Ortega St., getting lost in Mandaluyong, almost surprised myself for the situation that I was into.... I made it to her party. And yes, I was in pink!

Anything for you partner Teresa. The sacrifice was all worth it. It's nothing compared for all the love, support and friendship that you've given me. The promise stays on. I will be your extra Ate and your Partner Rhaych. Hang on girl! I'm always here to make you laugh.

Happy Birthday Partner Teresa!

Here's looking forward to more Saturday breakfasts with you, Adi and Sof ~ the Saturday Breakfast Club!

To anyone: You know the difference between you and me?! I MAKE THIS LOOK GOOD!
